Our History: A Timeline of God's Faithfulness
The story of our station is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and unwavering support. Through trial and tribulation, God has remained steadfast and true. Where there once were visions of radio reaching the closest neighbor, now there are means
of streaming live radio around the world!
It is with excitement that we share with you a bit of our humble beginnings:

The station faced financial closure and could have been sold to a Rock and Roll station. However, local pastors and the Christian community successfully raised $53,000 in 5 days to raise support of gospel radio.
January 1996

August 2013
IBOM purchased 1010 AM (WFGW) from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and renamed it WKJW.
April 2018
Dr. Runion went home to be with the Lord. Dr. Richard Smith became President of IBOM.

Today, we move forward with renewed purpose, deep faith, and excitement of God’s perfect plan. We honor the past, cherish the journey, and look ahead with joy—believing the best is yet to come.
